Just to recap: DigitalOcean purchased CSS-Tricks in 2022 from Chris Coyier, who founded the site in 2007. Chris ran it all the way up to that purchase. Here we are in 2026, and I’m taking independent ownership of the site.
Geoff Graham just purchased the site from DigitalOcean after working there for the last 12 years and now it’s fully independent again. Love to see it.
This site was invaluable to me back in the 2010’s when I first started tinkering around with Wordpress and web design in general. I kinda forgot it existed, but now it’s got a permanent place in my bookmarks bar once again.
