If you can create something yourself, you should do it, but in my opinion, having a programme that can change levels of existing games without any knowledge is a no go. You wouldn’t change a book halfway through; you wouldn’t change the outcome of a film halfway through; and you shouldn’t be changing assets of a game on the fly either, because what is the point of the original developer putting all of that hard work into something?
Meet the Guy Who Just Trademarked ‘The S Thing’
“But drawing the S thing was addictive, and in the same way I found myself completely addicted to the history, mystery and magic of the symbol. I just wanted to invest and continue.”
Son of a bitch. Someone registered a trademark for that cool millennial “S”. And this article is six years old even
Shadow AI is already inside your company. Here’s how to get control of it
“A tool that looks like a harmless assistant may have permission to read email, summarize files, access customer records, connect to ticketing systems or interact with source-code repositories,”
Reminds me of how everyone had a dozen of those sketchy spyware browser toolbars like BonziBuddy in the 90s and early 2000s but worse.
RSS is still my prefered feed format
But what if we didn’t have to build on top of RSS? What if… and hear me out, what if we used atproto for this!
I do like how standard.site is becoming its own RSS-adjacent thing. Standard Reader is really nice. A lot of stuff on ATProto is but I’m always afraid I’m putting all my eggs into one basket with something so new. I’m on Bluesky, and at one point I was using Leaflet for my blog, Standard Reader, and Skyfeed for RSS. The fact that RSS has been around nearly 30 years is a selling point for me even if it isn’t as feature-rich as what’s on ATProto.
U.N. backs new world map showing Africa in true relative size
The United States was the only country to vote against it.
Of course it was 😖
Back on micro.blog after a year or so. I tried a couple other blogging sites, most recently Leaflet, but I kept finding myself looking for ways to replicate everything micro.blog already does lol. My old username here was grubz, and after that it was gary.onl. It’s nice seeing some familiar faces!
