But I think that we probably just grew up and have lived our entire lives in an extraordinarily peaceful and easy period of time. The natural order of existence is kind of shitty and destructive and hard to deal with.

This is something I’ve only recently started thinking about. We’re not in the middle of some end times bullshit. Periods of peace and stability just don’t last forever.

Everything is shit right now, but we’ll get back to a better place. Eventually. For a little while.
